About Isotope
A lean, focused studio built on one idea: premium design shouldn't require a premium-sized firm.
I'm Max Linsky, the designer and developer behind Isotope.
Isotope is a one-person studio that builds websites for local businesses — restaurants, shops, salons, home services, and everyone else who keeps a community running.
I started Isotope because I kept seeing the same problem: great local businesses with terrible websites. Not because the owners didn't care — but because the options were either overpriced agencies or low-effort templates that looked like everyone else's.
So I changed how it works: I build your website for free, and you only pay once you've seen it and want it live. There's a better way to do this, and that's what Isotope is built around.
Work with meDesign philosophy:
premium results,
honest prices.
I believe a great website should do one thing well: make your business look credible and make it easy for someone to get in touch with you. That's it. Every design decision I make is in service of that goal.
Modern doesn't mean complicated. Organized doesn't mean boring. I aim for work that feels clean, intentional, and confident — the same way a well-run local business operates.
And I believe you shouldn't have to overpay for it. Good design is a craft, not a luxury. Isotope exists to prove that.
How it works
I flipped the usual deal. You don't pay to find out whether I can build something you'll be proud of — you pay only after you've seen it.
-
01 We build it — free
Tell me about your business and I'll design and build a complete, custom website. No deposit, no commitment, no pressure.
-
02 You review the real thing
You see the finished site — not a rough mockup or a slide deck. We refine it together until it's exactly right for your business.
-
03 Go live
Once you love it, a one-time launch fee takes it live, and a simple monthly plan keeps it hosted, updated, and supported. If it's not for you, you walk away owing nothing.
Why Isotope is different
The honest version of how this works.
01
No agency overhead
Bigger firms charge more because they have more to pay for: account managers, office space, layers of review. I work lean. You get the same quality output without paying for the org chart.
02
Direct communication
You work with me directly, not through an account rep who relays messages to a developer you never meet. That means faster feedback, fewer misunderstandings, and a site that actually reflects what you asked for.
03
Built for local businesses
I build for local businesses that live or die by their reputation in the community. That means I focus on what actually moves the needle for you: looking credible, showing up in local search, and making it dead simple for a nearby customer to get in touch.

Tools and skills that match the work
Going lean doesn't mean going without. I use the same professional tools and follow the same quality standards as any reputable design firm — I just don't carry the overhead that forces those firms to charge more.
